The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Gas team and a change agent within the Commercial Operations business unit. This team member is responsible for supporting the development of products, customer proposals, and go:to:market strategies for retail gas business products and services that meet the need of CPS Energy's customers and position the Gas Business to continue to grow profitably. This role will work closely with multiple organizational levels and across CPS Energy to help drive this change agenda within the Gas Business, and will provide leadership on special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities include:
:Responsible for project leadership and analytical support to meet the goals of the Gas Growth Program for the management of the Gas Growth Program
:Supports the development of gas programs and promotions to meet customer needs and win their business
:Supports the development of gas and electric proposals based on available options and programs
:Designs and maintains a sales plan that uses customer and financial analytics to develop acquisition prioritization
:Establishes metrics to track effectiveness, including sales programs and channels, return on investment and customer lifetime value
:Leads the process for the continuous evaluation of trends and adjustment of strategy to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace, including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence
:Maintains effective relationships with the CPS Energy Enterprise Account Management (EAM) sales force team to drive and track new customer opportunities
:Provides gas business training and continuing education regarding regulations, programs and promotions to the EAM sales force team
:Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math, the Natural Sciences or other related field from an accredited university; OR similar level of analytical capability typically gained through 5+ years of demonstrated success in a similar position
:Exceptional business acumen and understanding of the energy industry
:Demonstrated capability with effectively communicating complex ideas and analysis verbally, in document format (e.g. MS Word), and in presentation format (e.g. MW PowerPoint)
:Strong planning, project management and financial analysis skills
:Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other related field from an accredited institution
:Ability to lead in diverse situations and adapt to evolutions within the company and marketplace
:Demonstrated ability to work within time constraints and deliver high quality results in spite of obstacles and under stressful conditions
